Durant Nature Preserve Lake

Repairs have begun on Durant's lower lake dam. The lower lake has been drained so repairs can be made. The project is expected to be completed by the end of March 2019.

As a result, the service road across the dam is closed to the public and visitors will not be able to complete the lower lake trail loop that connects the north and south sides of the Preserve. The north and south sides of the Preserve can be accessed via portions of the lower lakeside trail, white house road trail and/or the border trail. Both parking lots will be open during construction.
