The City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department held a public open house workshop to review the schematic design plans for Walnut Creek Wetland Park improvements based on priorities from the recently adopted Park Master Plan on Saturday, April 13 from noon until 2 p.m. at the Norman and Betty Camp Education Center (950 Peterson Street). If you were not able to join us, please stop by the Education Center lobby to see the plan. Questions or comments may be sent to the project manager, Conrad Merced.
City staff will work with the public to develop a park master plan for Walnut Creek Wetland Park. Following the master plan process, the implementation stage of the project will include a boardwalk and interpretive opportunities for sustainable access into the park.
