What is an Annual Statement of Account?
An Annual Statement of Account is a document provided to a client detailing transactions completed with our Department for the period for which it is requested. The Statement is normally requested by clients to assist in year-end tax filings for dependent care.
Do I need to request an Annual Statement of Account?
Clients need only request this document to claim dependent care expenses for tax filing purposes, or for FSA reimbursement. If neither of these situations apply to you, you do not need a statement.
How can I request the Annual Statement of Account?
An email should be sent to email@example.com with the client’s name, phone number, address, dates that the statement should cover, and dependents for which the statement should include. All requests should be emailed; phone requests will not be fulfilled. Statements will only be issued to the main contact on the RecLink account.
How long does it take to receive the statement once requested, and how will I receive it?
Statements will be sent to the email listed on the client’s RecLink account within seven (7) business days from the date of the request. Please be sure that the email address listed on the account is the most up to date, and that the email address firstname.lastname@example.org is added to your contacts.
I requested the statement, but I have not received it. What now?
Check your spam mail. The statement will come from email@example.com. If this address is not added to your contacts, it may go to your spam folder. If you checked the spam folder and still do not see it, resend your request.
I need an Annual Statement of Account for a different period. How can I request that?

What if I do not have an email address on file?
The Statement will be mailed to the address that we have on file. Please check your RecLink account to be sure that the address listed there is the most up to date.
How do I check to see which email address is on file for my RecLink account?
You may access RecLink from the City of Raleigh's website (Arts & Parks > Register on RecLink). Once accessed, login to your RecLink account. If you do not know your login credentials, choose "Forgot My Login ID/PIN" to receive an email with your credentials.
