Empowering Wake Day

Empowering Wake Day is a festival to celebrate young people between the ages of 12 and 17 that have volunteered their time and talents in their community. From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, the event will feature a fun atmosphere that includes inflatables, a silent disco, arts and crafts, food trucks, and more!

All youth who have already completed volunteer work should register online, let us know what organization they volunteered for, and what kind of tasks they helped with. Additional opportunities to volunteer are also listed below.

Volunteer hours and registration are NOT required to attend this event but are strongly encouraged for headcount purposes. If you are not yet a volunteer, please join us for information on how to get connected with opportunities.

This is a day to celebrate teens positively impacting their community. If you are an organization that wants to be part of this event, has opportunities for teens to volunteer - email us.

To attend this event, register online here.

If you are a teen, we want to see pictures of the good things you are doing! Email them to us or send them to us via Facebook (@DixPark).
