Event posted Sep. 05, 2018 - 11:55 am
Empowering Wake Day

Empowering Wake Day is a festival to celebrate young people between the ages of 12 and 17 that have volunteered their time and talents in their community. From 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 13th, the event will feature a fun atmosphere that includes inflatables, a silent disco, arts and crafts, and more!

All youth who have already completed volunteer work should register online, let us know what organization they volunteered for, and what kind of tasks they helped with. Additional opportunities to volunteer are also listed below.

This is a day to celebrate teens positively impacting their community. If you are an organization that wants to be part of this event, has opportunities for teens to volunteer - email us at events@dixpark.org.
