Youth Football and Cheerleading Registration

Are you ready for some football? The City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department will be offering youth tackle football and cheerleading for kids between the ages of seven and 13. Football and cheerleading teams will be offered at the below Community Centers:

  • Brier Creek Park Community Center;
  • Optimist Road Park Community Center;
  • Millbrook Exchange Park Community Center;
  • Green Road Community Center;
  • Lions Park Community Center;
  • Worthdale Community Center;
  • Marsh Creek Community Center;
  • Jaycee Park Community Center;
  • Biltmore Hills Park Community Center;
  • Chavis Park Community Center; and,
  • Sgt. Courtney T. Johnson Community Center.

Registration will be held from July 16 to August 3. Interested athletes may register at a local community center during the registration period. The City will provide all necessary equipment and uniforms for all registered athletes. Equipment provided includes:

  • Football helmet;
  • Football shoulder pads;
  • Football pants and pads;
  • Jersey or cheerleading uniform; and,
  • Cheerleading pom poms.

Cost is $55 (City); $70 (non-city)
