Jump aboard the Haunted Trolley, if you dare, for a special late night tour of downtown Raleigh's most haunted places. You never know who you might meet along the way! From Plantation to Park: The Story of Dix Hill
The City of Raleigh Museum and the Dorothea Dix Park Conservancy present From Plantation to Park, a new permanent exhibit focused on the past, present, and future of Dix Hill. The exhibit opens to the public on Oct. 21.
Haunted Mordecai Festival
Sat., Oct. 27, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Enjoy an afternoon of Halloween-themed fun including food, music, games, and crafts on the lawn at Mordecai Historic Park. There will be costume contests for kids up to 16 years old beginning at 1 p.m. Paranormal investigation group the Ghost Guild will be on site to reveal their findings from the Mordecai House and answer your questions. Haunted Mordecai "Nothing More"
Saturday, Oct. 27, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Some believe that the Mordecai House is the most haunted home in North Carolina. Do you? Join us for this nighttime event based around the scary stories of Edgar Allen Poe! Spooky tours are offered only once a year, so don't miss this chance! Advanced registration is recommended. Tickets are nonrefundable. Face Your Fears
Tuesday, Oct. 30, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
One night each year teens come out to face their fears and phobias at Pullen Park. On this evening you can spy a cast of characters roaming around the grounds, trying to find the fearful and the fearless amongst you...Join us for a haunting evening of frightening encounters and spine-chilling adventures. Groups and individuals are welcomed. Fear not, you will be paired with other participants if you come alone. Costumes are not allowed for this event, as we don't want to mistake you for one of the ghouls. Registration on Reclink using the unique barcode below is required by Thursday, Oct. 25.
