Volunteer to Help Clean Up Raleigh Parks After Hurricane Florence

News posted Sep. 13, 2018 - 12:05 pm

The City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Volunteer Services Program is preparing for the aftermath of Hurricane Florence. We understand our community's desire to give back and help us maintain our beautiful parks and greenways.

If you are interested in assisting with Hurricane Florence aftermath clean-up, please sign up using this registration link: Hurricane Florence Aftermath Clean-up. Once staff have assessed sites and determine locations safe for volunteers to assist with clean-up, you will receive email updates about upcoming volunteer clean-up projects in City of Raleigh parks and greenways.

Storms have the potential to create hazardous situations. We will be assessing parks for damage after the storm. We ask that patrons sign up to volunteer and wait until they receive an email with their volunteer assignment.

Thanks so much for your interest in volunteering with the City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department.
