Scarecrow Festival and Pumpkin Patch Bash October 14

Event posted Sep. 20, 2017 - 3:59 pm

Get your supplies ready to build your own scarecrow at the Pullen Park Scarecrow Festival. Formerly located at the Pullen Arts Center, Pulllen park will be taking over the festival this year. Families are encouraged to bring clothing and decorations to dress their scarecrow while the park will provide the stand and stuffing. Winners will be chosen in the categories of: most creative, scariest, funniest, most endearing and best all-around. Get your reservations in early on RecLink as slots are free but limited.

Afterwards, swing by the Pumpkin Patch Bash at the Pullen Park event lawn. A selection of pumpkins will be available for purchase. Once you’re finished, take on our carnival games of skill and try to win a prize. Feeling crafty? We have an arts and crafts table just for the kids in addition to balloon twisting throughout the day. All these activities along with our train, carousel, kiddie boats and pedal boats can truly help make this one fall festival of a day for you and your family.
