Is your teen looking for something fun and meaningful to do on teacher workdays? Join us for the Teen Thrive program!

This program will give teens the opportunity to cultivate their personal and educational goals. Teens will be challenged to think critically and improve their decision-making skills through teambuilding activities. They will also explore various higher education and career opportunities by visiting local college campuses and businesses. Teens will also learn how to build resumes, complete job applications and develop interview skills. Community service projects will be completed to teach teens the importance of giving back to their community.

During our first session on Wednesday, Oct. 9, we will focus on community service. Teen Thrive will attend the Youth Food Security Summit hosted at the Food Bank for Central and Eastern North Carolina followed by Glow in the Dark activities. Lunch will be provided. Drop off is from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and pick up is from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Saint Monica Teen Center!

Register in person at any community center or online via RecLink using the barcode #246289.
