The Teen Outreach Program is opening for Fall 2018
Are you a teenager between the ages of 12 and 18? The Teen Outreach Program is a free after school program for teenagers in middle or high school. Opening Sept. 4, the Teen Outreach Program (TOPs) will provide teens with a positive and engaging environment after school. TOPs operates at 10 different community centers across Raleigh.
The Teen Outreach Program operates Monday-Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Teens can register by dropping by any of our 10 locations during program hours and completing the registration packet. Teens must be between the ages of 12 and 18 years old and currently enrolled in middle or high school to register.
The Teen Outreach Program also provides teens with mentoring relationships while addressing issues that affect teens, their community, and their environment. Along with exploring relationships and community issues, teens participate in a variety of activities including athletics, arts, recreational games, field trips, adventure programs, skill building, and more.
The 10 locations include: Biltmore Hills Community Center, Carolina Pines Community Center, John Chavis Community Center, Green Road Community Center, Lions Park Community Center, Method Road Community Center, Millbrook Exchange Community Center, Roberts Park Community Center, Saint Monica Teen Center, and the Worthdale Community Center.
