Storm Drain Art is Coming to Raleigh!

News posted Jul. 26, 2018 - 6:00 am

Raleigh Stormwater and Raleigh Arts are excited to partner with local artist Sarahlaine Calva this fall. She will be painting five storm drains in Raleigh to spread awareness about water pollution and the negative impacts it has on streams, lakes, and rivers.

This project also will bring more public art to the city and draw attention to storm drains in a fun and unique way. The goal is to encourage residents to keep litter and other debris out of our waterways.

Follow @RaleighArts for more details on where the art will be located and when it will be installed!
