Construction for this project is complete. The new station has been built and re-opened. 

A dedication ceremony for the fire station will be on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 1 p.m. The fire station is located at 4306 Poole Road. 

Summary

The purpose of this project, which is located at 4306 Poole Road, is to construct a new 18,136-square-foot fire station with three equipment bays. Work for this project includes grading the current site; filling and backfilling the worksite; connecting utilities; putting in an asphalt parking area; and creating reinforced concrete "fire truck aprons" or bases and sidewalks around the station.

Renovations to the fire station include structural, electrical, interior, and landscaping work.
