The design phase for this project is currently underway with the most recent design plans being approved for permitting. The City is currently preparing to bid this project for construction in March.

Summary

The purpose of this project is to install a stage canopy at Meymandi Concert Hall that will improve the sound and audio quality for the North Carolina Symphony, which performs at the City of Raleigh's Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.

History

Installation of the stage canopy at Meymandi Concert Hall is in partnership with the City of Raleigh's Construction Management Division and the City's Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. The North Carolina Symphony is the primary funder for this project.
