Everett Avenue Closed Oct. 21 through Oct. 25 for Installation of Stormwater Pipe

The City of Raleigh will close a portion of Everett Avenue (off of Clark Avenue) starting Monday, Oct. 21, to add a new stormwater pipe in this area. The road will be closed to thru-traffic between Brooks Avenue and Gardner Street. Residents living on the street will have access to their properties. The road is expected to reopen Friday, Oct. 25, after 5 p.m. The schedule may vary due to weather.
Please follow traffic signs for the following detour:
Traffic to the west of Everett Avenue will be routed through Kilgore Avenue to Gardner Street; and,
Traffic to the east of Everett Avenue will be routed through Kilgore Avenue to Brooks Avenue.
This project is being done through the City of Raleigh’s Drainage Assistance Program, which helps residents with drainage issues on private property that cause flooding or severe erosion from stormwater runoff on public streets.
