Kaplan Drive Street Resurfacing Public Meeting

Meeting to discuss resurfacing with Kaplan Drive area property owners

Event posted Jan. 31, 2019 - 11:20 am

The City of Raleigh resurfaces City streets with poor pavement conditions on an annual basis. In addition to improving the pavement conditions, resurfacing projects improve sidewalk ramps, crosswalks, and curbs. They also provide the City of Raleigh the opportunity to update street configurations to match the Comprehensive Plan (adopted by City Council in October 2009) and the Bicycle Plan (adopted by City Council in May 2016).

Kaplan Drive from Kent Road to Gorman Street is proposed to be resurfaced in the next year.

To make the streets safer for all users, the resurfacing may impact the availability of on-street parking.

We would like you to learn more about this project and provide input!
