The City of Raleigh held public meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Green Road Park Community Center, 4201 Green Road. The City’s design consultant and City staff were present to show the 65 percent plans and answer project-related questions and take public comments before finalizing the plan.

Summary

The improvements will include new pavement and restriping between Green Road and Ingram Drive and will widen the roadway from Ingram Drive to Deana Lane. The enhancements will include:

  • A three-lane, curb-and-gutter section;
  • Bike lanes;
  • Sidewalk on both sides of the street;
  • Stormwater and erosion control; and,
  • Culvert replacement

Assessments for new curb and gutter installation will be applicable according to City of Raleigh Assessment Policies. Residential statutory costs are $32 per linear foot and commercial statutory costs are $64 per linear foot.
