Lake Lynn Study

Expect periodic closures along the dam/spillway and sections of the trail at each end of the dam/spillway at Lake Lynn Loop Trail through May 15, 2024, to accommodate a study. Additionally, only a portion of the parking lot located at 3210 Lynn Road, will also be closed. A majority of the parking will remain open and accessible.

Wake County and the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service of North Carolina are developing a Sustainable Watershed Plan and Environmental Assessment for Lake Lynn Dam, also known as Crabtree Creek Watershed Structure No. 22B. The lake level will lowered to accommodate the study.
