In 2019, Raleigh's City Council established the goal of achieving an 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2050. Raleigh's Community Climate Action Plan (CCAP) set a course to reach that goal, and all City of Raleigh departments and Raleigh residents have a part to play. The City of Raleigh believes that we can address the global threat of climate change while building our economic strength, and being mindful of social equity.
