Oberlin Road Streetscape Project

Construction Update

Oberlin Road will be closed to through traffic between Pullen Road and Clark Avenue from Nov. 10 through Nov. 20.

As part of the Oberlin Road Streetscape Project, crews are replacing sewer and water mains on Oberlin Road between Pullen Road and Clark Avenue. Due to the location of the pipes, it has been determined that the contractor needs to close Oberlin Road to through traffic while this work is completed.

The work in this area is extensive. To minimize longer-term disturbances to businesses and residents, the work is scheduled to be 24-hour continuous work during the day and overnight hours throughout the two weeks.

Access to businesses and homes in the construction zone will be maintained. However, all other traffic will be detoured. The detour is Hillsborough Street to Woodburn Road to Clark Avenue to Oberlin Road, or Clark Avenue to Enterprise Street to Hillsborough Street. The detour map is below.

We understand that construction is disruptive, and we greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation as the contractor completes this necessary work.
